ShipBar - Shipping & Stock ("the App", "we", "us") is a Shopify theme app extension that displays a free shipping progress bar and a low stock counter on a store's product pages. The App runs entirely inside the merchant's Shopify theme as a client-side block in the shopper's browser.
The App does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal information from merchants or their customers. Specifically, the App:
The App reads cart and inventory information directly from the Shopify storefront (via the public /cart.js endpoint and Liquid template variables) at the time the page is rendered. All calculations happen in the visitor's browser. No data leaves the merchant's store.
Because the App does not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data to retain, and nothing is stored on the developer's servers.
The App does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect any.
The App is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). As the App does not collect or process personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. We also honour Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, and shop redact); because no data is stored, these requests are acknowledged and require no further action.
